So i like creating art in theory but i dont really have like Artistic Skills. Obviously you don't need skills to create art and it's still fun but yknow how it is. And i used to be more creative but I'm not so much anymore, but I wanna be. So i did what anyone would do and hopped on kidpix.

The version I used to make this art wasn't the one i used as a kid around 2010-ish on the school computers, KidPix 3D Deluxe. But it was fun getting to know kidpix and the really simple controls meant that i didn't have to focus hard on making it perfect. If i goofed something up, i just had to roll with the punches. Happy little accidents.

Version 1.0 of KidPix was released in the public domain in 1989. I made my art with the HTML remake by Vikrum. You can check out his GitHub page for it here! There's links to all the various uploads of KidPix, as well as some tips and guides on how to use it. Thanks a bunch man!

I made art using this page here! Aaand on this basically identical page here (except this one's a neocities page!). And don't forget this one, which is also identical. But I've been using the three of them to have three different canvases going at once. You can close the tab and as long as you don't erase your history or use a private browsing tab it'll save so you can come back to it.

Anyways, that's just a bit of background. I reccomend ANYBODY try out kidpix at least a bit. It's really fun and great if you like the idea of making art but dont really know where or how to start. It's fun just trying out all the different tools. My brother suggested I post these somewhere so here we are. It's also great cause im now here making a page! I haven't worked on neocities in a long while, i think cause it mostly intimidated me, same with making art. But i guess right now im realizing that i should just use these tools to have fun and make something, and not compare myself to all the other great sites or art I see. Cause this is my slice of the internet and that's something special.
